ecobee splits its AI feature rollouts
Home Summary starts first; new security tools follow later.

ecobee’s [October 29 announcement](https://investors.generac.com/node/16481/pdf) says Home Summary, an opt‑in AI digest in its app, began rolling out that day. It combines heating, cooling, security, occupancy and weather information.
A separate security rollout
New Smart Security features begin rolling out by year end. Their plan boundaries differ:
The daily recap gives a household‑wide overview; event search narrows review to a particular recorded security moment.
