FakeYou vs SkimIt.ai
Side-by-side comparison · Updated October 2026
| Description | FakeYou turns text into character audio using community-created voices and also offers voice conversion and voice-creation tools. Free feature access is advertised; paid plans cost $12, $25 or $40 per month and increase priority and audio-length limits. Start with a short sample because quality varies. Ordinary character voices are for non-commercial use; buying a subscription does not grant blanket commercial rights. | SkimIt.ai is an AI-driven tool designed to provide quick and efficient summaries of articles directly to your email. Simply email a link to the article to go@SkimIt.ai, and within around 10 minutes, you'll receive an AI-generated summary. The tool is powered by OpenAI's GPT technology and was created by Karthik Sridharan and Alex Furmansky as a fun hackathon project. While easy to use, keep in mind that the content is for entertainment purposes only and may not be entirely accurate. You can also CC friends in your email to share the summary with them. |
