Shopify Sidekick adds transparent-background image generation

Shopify’s [October 23 changelog](https://changelog.shopify.com/posts/generate‑images‑with‑transparent‑backgrounds‑in‑sidekick) adds transparent‑background image generation to Sidekick. Merchants can ask for illustrations, icons and other graphics for their store or marketing without a solid background surrounding the image. The documented workflow stays inside Shopify: open Sidekick in the Shopify admin, describe the image and explicitly request a transparent background in the prompt. Shopify illustrates the instruction with a hand‑drawn leaf. The request combines what to draw with how its background should appear; the notice does not describe a separate transparency setting.

It does not announce a tool for removing the background from an existing photograph, or a new image‑editing application.
