Hawaiian Teens Soar to New Heights: Graduates of NASA's Aviation Challenge Mach II
Two Hawaiian teenagers, Ryder Simer and Richard Hutter, both members of the Pyramid Rock Young Marines, have graduated from the prestigious NASA Aviation Challenge Mach II in Huntsville, Alabama. This six-day adventure invited 36 dedicated Young Marines from across the U.S., aged 12-14, to dive into the captivating world of aeronautics, aviation history, and teamwork. With a curriculum packed with flight simulators and air combat maneuvering, the space camp fostered new skills and friendships.
