Google has unveiled its latest AI innovation, Illuminate, which transforms dense academic research papers into engaging audio conversations. Designed to simplify access to complex information, Illuminate is especially tailored for computer science papers and allows up to 19 audio conversions per day. The tool promises to bridge the gap between academia and the public, providing a novel way to consume research material. Although currently limited to PDF links, Google plans to expand its input file range soon.
