Summaries and uploaded-file transcription consume those credits. Auto-join can enable unlimited eligible meeting transcriptions, but that does not remove the separate storage, summary or AI limits.
Is Fireflies' free storage per person or per team?
The pricing card says 400 minutes per team, while the free-plan help page says 400 minutes per seat. Confirm the allocation in your workspace before planning a team rollout. Storage is the amount retained, not a fresh monthly transcription allowance.
Can Fireflies take notes without a meeting bot?
Yes. The Windows and Mac desktop app can capture system audio using Take Notes without adding a bot. This mode generates a transcript and summary but does not save audio or video files. Use the available participant notifications and obtain any required recording permission.
Can I upload an existing recording?
